There are lots of used Insignias available, so they’re very affordable. The Insignia generally performs well in reliability surveys and it’s been awarded the full five stars in Euro NCAP testing.

The Insignia is a large car that competes with the Skoda Octavia and the Ford Mondeo, both of which are also available as an estate or a saloon. It’s a bit bigger than cars like the Vauxhall Astra or Ford Focus, but is smaller than the Skoda Superb. It’s generally very highly regarded and often wins awards for its practicality and design.
