What to expect on the day

To access our Cheltenham location, you'll need to book a drop-off or pick-up slot before arriving. When you arrive, simply look out for the Cazoo transporter in the car park.

If you’ve purchased a Cazoo car and you’re collecting it

- One of our Handover Specialists will show you around the car and talk you through its features. 

- Just show proof of your identification and give us a signature to say that you’re happy with the car.

- If you’re also part exchanging, we’ll take your current car off your hands at the same time we hand over your Cazoo car. 

- All handovers take about 30 minutes or 45 minutes if you’re part exchanging.

If you’re dropping off a car you’re selling 

• Once you've parked, we’ll check your car to make sure it matches the description you gave us.

• Your handover will take around 20 minutes to complete but can take up to an hour. 

We’ll then take your car off your hands and the money will be in your account instantly.

What to bring if you’re selling or part exchanging

• A valid V5C that matches your name, address and the number plates

• A valid photo driving licence or your passport

• Evidence of your car’s service history

• At least one car key

• Any accessories or parts that came with the car

• Proof of address, such as a utility bill or bank statement

If you’re missing any service history, let us know during the online valuation. You also need to be the owner (registered keeper) of the car you want to sell. For more information, read our sell car terms and conditions.

Getting home

If you’re selling your car and need to get home afterwards, you can easily reach Cheltenham’s town centre by catching a bus. The bus stop is just a 2-minute walk from our location and services run every 10 minutes or so for your convenience. If you’d prefer to book a taxi or arrange a lift, we recommend doing so before you arrive.
