A free yearly maintenance inspection is included with your cover. This checks the operation of the clutch, brakes and steering, as well as the condition of the tyres, exhaust, suspension and more. For a full breakdown, read the Maintenance Inspection Checklist.
To qualify for Extended Warranty, the inspection needs to be completed every year of your plan. You can request an inspection by following the steps on RAC’s website.

We’ve already completed a mechanical and safety check on your Cazoo car to ensure its quality, safety and condition. That said, it’s always a good idea to prepare for any unexpected costs.

If you need any repair work carried out, you’ll have access to hundreds of RAC and VAT-approved garages, wherever you are in the UK. Learn how to make a claim through the RAC.
You can also visit any of our Cazoo Service Centres, which you’ll find attached to each of our Customer Centres. We offer a hassle-free service and all of the parts we use are manufacturer approved.
*Based on a 4 year Extended Warranty plan. Monthly prices are fixed up to the length of your chosen cover.
Extended Warranty is there for when your free 90-day warranty runs out. It covers mechanical and electrical parts, includes RAC roadside assistance and a free yearly maintenance inspection for every year of your plan. The cover is available to purchase for up to 4 years for complete peace of mind.
You can make an unlimited number of claims as soon as your cover starts, up to the value of your car when you purchased it. For example, if you bought your car for £20,000, you can make up to £20,000 worth of claims. This stays the same throughout the length of your cover and there's no minimum claim amount.
If you’ll be using your car for services or transport in exchange for payment (which is also known as hire and reward), you won't be eligible for the extended warranty.
This also applies to the free 90-day warranty if you're using your car for these purposes.

You can add the extended warranty to your purchase at checkout and choose to pay monthly or with a one-off payment.
If you’ve already bought your Cazoo car, you’ll be able to purchase the extended warranty up until the day before your 90-day warranty expires.
Simply give us a call on 020 3901 3488 or visit a Cazoo Customer Centre and we’ll be happy to help you purchase the cover. You can also log into your account to pay for Extended Warranty after purchasing your Cazoo car.
Your extended warranty may become invalid if:
You miss a service.
You miss a yearly maintenance inspection.
You damage the car due to negligence.
You use the wrong fuel or oil.
A problem occurs from incorrectly fitted parts.

Once you’ve taken out your extended warranty, you have a 14-day cooling off period. Within this time, you can change your mind and cancel for a full refund if you haven’t made any claims. If you have any questions before you sign the agreement, please give us a call on 020 3901 3488 and we’ll be happy to talk you through it.
If you change your mind after the 14-day cooling off period, you can still cancel your plan. You'll receive a partial refund if your car has been written off and you haven’t made any claims. For more information, read our terms and conditions.
